BIOGRAPHY

Susan Glendening, Environmental Specialist, is a project manager for the San Francisco Bay Restoration Authority and for the Estuary Partnership’s Adaptation and Resilience Technical Assistance (ARTA) group which focuses on advancing nature-based solutions for flood risk reduction and ecosystem co-benefits. She also worked at the SF Bay Regional Water Quality Control Board for 13 years, as part of the Estuary Partnership, preparing permits, and researching environmental and regulatory issues for dredge and fill projects and for California’s statewide NPDES general permit for drinking water systems. Her technical foundation includes field and laboratory experience in aquatic trophic dynamics, aquatic toxicology, fisheries, groundwater monitoring, and hazardous waste cleanup, through previous positions. Susan has a B.S. in Biological Sciences from UC Davis and an M.S. in Environmental Management from the University of San Francisco.
