Outcomes and outputs
In the application you will be asked to define the outcomes and outputs of your project.
- An output is an activity, effort, or product related to an environmental goal. In other words, it is what your project will produce at the end of the funding period (e.g., removal of invasive species on a 1 square mile parcel).
- An outcome is a result, effect, or consequence that occurs from doing the environmental activity. The outcomes are the consequences of the product (e.g., the removal of invasive species on the habitat in and around the parcel results in 1 square mile of improved habitat for x species).
