Thank you to all who joined us for the 2024 State of the San Francisco Estuary Conference held on May 28-29, 2024 at the Oakland Scottish Rite Center!

About

Every two years, the Estuary Partnership brings a focus to the management and ecological health of the San Francisco Bay-Delta Estuary. The State of the San Francisco Estuary Conference showcases the latest information about the region’s work to sustain and improve the estuary’s habitats, living resources, water quality, climate resilience, and environmental stewardship.

Mission

The mission of the ongoing State of the Estuary Conference is to serve as a venue for sharing timely and important information for people who are impacted by and working to improve, conserve, and monitor the health of the estuary. While there is no designated theme for each conference year, the intent of the event is to meet the moment by calling out critical topics and offering a platform for inclusive and equitable representation of regional scientists, community organizers, students, legislators, resource managers, planners, and many more working in the space. As we continue to hold these biennial events, we aim to draw deeper connections to climate adaptation, environmental justice, and region-wide watershed stewardship.
